Hand-Harvested Blooms
The Saffron Crocus blooms for only two weeks a year. Our skilled team harvests the delicate flowers before sunrise to preserve the highest level of volatile oils, aroma, and color.
The Stigma Separation
Immediately after harvest, the three crimson stigmas (threads) are hand-separated from the flower. This labor-intensive process is the key to producing the highly prized Super Negin grade, guaranteeing no yellow or white matter.
Flash Drying & Testing
The threads are flash-dried in a temperature-controlled environment to maintain potency and then subjected to independent lab testing (ISO 3632) for Crocin (Color), Picrocrocin (Flavor), and Safranal (Aroma).
